Content Writer

We are looking for a content writer to join our team and enrich our websites with new blog posts, guides, and copywriting for affiliate products. Our website is about health, targeting audiences in the United States who are 40 years old and older. So we need our articles to be well-written and easily understood by our audience.

Content writer responsibilities include conducting fact-checking for industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types, and proofreading articles before publication. If you’re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you. Feel free to share samples of your work or a portfolio of your published articles. You are required to produce high-quality articles that appeal to our audiences, attract customers, and boost brand awareness.

Responsibilities;

-Write clear marketing copy to promote our products and possibly services in the future
-Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management System
-Proofread, check for plagiarism and edit blog posts before publication
-Upload the draft on WordPress and log the details to the company tracker
-Coordinate with the graphic designer or social media personnel to illustrate articles
-Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
-Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
-Update website content as needed

Requirements and skills

-Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
-Experience doing research using multiple sources
-Familiarity with web publications
-Excellent writing and editing skills in English
-Ability to meet deadlines
-Can work under pressure
-Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress not required but a plus factor)

Your salary will start at $2 per hour, and you will be entitled to an increase as the company grows.
