350 PHP per hour
Flexibility in terms of work hours, but the hours must be worked within our standard hours of business to assist with collaboration – Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (AEST – GMT+10).

Universal Fans is an Australian retail business based in Melbourne specialising in ceiling fans and ventilation products, with multiple e-commerce stores. All of our ecommerce sites are maintained in house.
We are seeking a talented and creative Content Writer to join our team. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, well-structured content that engages our target audience. This includes detailed articles, blog posts, website copy, product listing descriptions and other written materials.
About the Role
Create high quality product descriptions to enhance our listings and focus on key selling points.
Write well researched articles and blog posts covering a variety of topics, some of which may be fairly complex and technical in nature.
Create optimal copy for product categories and key landing pages.
Create content that is engaging and exciting to read, as well as optimal in terms of SEO.
Assist with creation of written content for external use, including marketplace platforms and other websites that showcase our product range.
About You
High level of professional writing and proofreading skills
Demonstrated experience writing effective ‘SEO optimised’ content.
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with a team.
Experience uploading and editing content on WordPress or similar. Previous experience with a WordPress page builder would be highly regarded.
Strong ability to conduct independent research and write about complex topics confidently.
A passion for storytelling and a flair for writing engaging content for an Australian audience.
Job details
– As we are based in Melbourne Australia, your working hours will be business days Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (AEST – GMT+10). We are looking for an individual that is able to work 20 hours per week during these hours.
– You will be employed as a contractor on a 12-month contract arrangement.
– It is essential you have a home office set up, which includes a reliable and secure internet connection, and required equipment (which mainly includes a computer, appropriate software as well as access to Zoom meetings for training).
