Content Writer for Blogging (SEO)

The Role:
We are in search of a part-time Content Writer with a knack for SEO to create engaging, optimized blog content. You will play a crucial role in our content strategy by utilizing provided keywords and SEMrush to write content that not only resonates with our audience but also ranks well on search engines. Initially, you will receive close guidance and feedback, with the opportunity to gain more autonomy (and hours of work), ownership over content creation as you demonstrate your skills and understanding of our goals.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the content team to understand content needs and objectives.
Use provided keywords and SEMrush to research, plan, and write SEO-optimized blog posts.
Produce well-researched, engaging, and audience-appropriate content on a wide variety of topics.
Ensure all written content meets SEO standards for keyword usage, blog structure, and readability.
Revise content based on feedback to ensure it aligns with our brand voice and content goals.
Stay updated on SEO best practices and adjust content strategy accordingly.
As experience grows, take on more responsibility in content planning and strategy.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role with a focus on SEO.
Trainable, and speaks english well.
Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices, including keyword research and content optimization.
Experience with SEMrush or similar SEO tools.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of published articles.
Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality content.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Open to feedback and dedicated to continuous improvement.

What you should know:
– We’re looking to hire someone part time for now, aiming for 4 hours a day. However, we’re open to extending hours and pay over time depending on performance and growth of the company!
