Content Writer for Food Site (Willing to Work With AI Tech)

Seeking a writer with experience in & great curiosity about the food industry. I’m looking for someone detail-oriented, with native-level English proficiency; I offer great benefits on top of a competitive salary. I’d prefer that you have previously worked in the food industry, but it’s not necessary.

My goal is to offer the most accurate, current, and easy-to-read information on the specific food topics, so you’ll be required to link to sources where appropriate. Blog posts will be from around 500 words to as many as 3000+ words, and you’ll be working with a specific AI platform to create posts from keywords, then edit, fact-check, and enhance each post with more relevant info from your research.

During a regular workweek, I expect you to be able to produce an average of at least 20K fully-edited words (~8-12 articles), including research time. If you’ve read this sentence, please use the word “pharaoh” in your application title. My preference is quality over quantity, but the addition of the AI draft element means that I’m expecting a higher output than I would from a traditional writer.

After the training period, each week you will receive a group of keywords for the week, which you’ll be expected to work through in the order that they’re provided, and I understand that some weeks you’ll work through more than others. I’m looking for someone to work an average of 40 hours per week (for PHP25000 per month) right now, excluding paid time off (see below).

I believe it’s important to have structure at work, so I do require a short email at the end of each work day, letting me know quickly: what you did that day & what problems you ran into that day. This is because I want us to work together to figure out any issues, and the best way to solve them.

I will train you in any software you’ll need to use, and give constructive feedback. I’m open to whatever works for you, but I do need you to have a set schedule ahead of time so that I know when to expect your writing. You’ll need to use Timeproof for your hours.

After 6 months, in addition to the monthly salary I do pay benefits (15 working days’ paid leave, SSS, and paid national holidays). Payment is sent on the 1st and 15th of the month (earlier in December).
