Job Title: Content Writer (Home Service Niche)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a content writer with a knack of writing user-friendly guides, preferably with knowledge of the home services niche (Roofing, solar, energy efficiency etc.). Your role will involve analyzing what’s working well with the competition, constructing content plans and using GPT4 to craft insightful guides. These guides will then need to be rewritten to ensure they are 100% made from humans whilst keeping a consistent style of writing.

Responsibilities:
*Independently conducting research on various home service topics so you understand the topic area clearly and fully.
*Revamping our existing content – making it human written, engaging, informative, and super readable.
*Creating well-structured tables of content based on competitor analysis and keywords.
*Utilizing GPT-4 for writing guides, you’ll ensure that the content is information-rich and user-friendly. You’ll have the skill to expand or condense certain sections of these guides, tailoring the information to precisely meet user needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for rewriting the guides to ensure they are unique, engaging, and deliver the information that users are seeking.
*Incorporating SEO best practices into our content using relevant keywords
*Maintaining impeccable grammar, spelling, and formatting.
*Showing the content keeps a consistent style of writing across all of the guides.
Qualifications:
Essential:
*Strong research abilities to quickly grasp various topics and how best to present them
*Ability to structure content into a logical, user-friendly order, whilst also meeting our SEO goals
*Ability to rewrite and edit content, using your own words, while ensuring its coherence and fluency in English
*Experience In editing content on WordPress
*A portfolio or samples of your work
Desirable:
*Experience in writing for home service niches such as solar, electricity, gas, plumbing.
*Basic on-page SEO knowledge would be beneficial
