Responsibilities:
We seek a driven and skilled Contract Procurement and Outreach Specialist familiar with contracting in the United States in both the public and private sectors.
Research and identify potential contract opportunities that align with our products and services.
Identify new contract opportunities starting in the New York City and New York state for which SANO is certified as a Minority-Owned Small Business.
Build and manage a “pipleline” of future solicitations and provide and assessment and recommendations to SANO owners for possible pursuits.
Identify prime contractors in our industry to seek sub-contracting relationships.
Possess a strong business acumen with an ability to organize and present new contracting opportunities in a professional manner for Owner decisions.
Follow through with tracking solicitations and preparing proposals in response to “Request for Bids” that are fulling compliant.
Highly responsive to Owner directions and communications, particularly in during US time zone business hours.
Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for business expansion
Analyze the performance of secured contracts and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Familiar with business development and researching and analyzing contract opportunities in the US context.
Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
Strong negotiation and persuasive communication skills.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
Compensation:
Base Pay+ Bonus based on a percentage of each successfully procured contract.
