Financial Controller – Build a Solid Foundation for Our Roofing Success!

Elevate Roofing, a leading roofing company in Utah, is seeking a talented and experienced Financial Controller to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our financial operations, ensuring the company’s financial health and stability.

**What You’ll Do:**

* Manage the entire financial close process, including month-end closing procedures, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
* Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) according to GAAP standards.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive budgeting and forecasting model to support strategic decision-making.
* Manage cash flow, including accounts payable and receivable.
* Oversee accounts payable processing and ensure timely vendor payments.
* Analyze financial data and provide insights to management to support business growth and profitability.
* Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with all accounting regulations.
* Work closely with the operations team to ensure accurate project costing and profitability analysis.
* Prepare and manage reports for various stakeholders, including banks, investors, and management.

**What You Bring to the Table:**

* CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation (preferred).
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial controller or senior accounting role, preferably within the construction industry.
* Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
* Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

**Bonus Points if You Have:**

* Experience working within the roofing industry.
* Construction accounting knowledge, including project costing and overhead allocation.
* Strong understanding of internal controls and risk management.
