**Role Overview:**
As the COO/Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our end-to-end operations, ensuring seamless processes, and driving revenue and profit growth.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for executing strategies, streamlining operations, and implementing best practices across various functions within the company.
This is a remote position.
**Responsibilities:**
**You are familiar with the processes and see yourself as an integrator/implementer:**
**1. Operational Efficiency and Process Improvement:**
a. Identify operational inefficiencies and implement innovative solutions to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
b. Develop and optimize operational procedures, including inventory management, order processing, fulfillment, and shipping logistics.
c. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and 3PL to drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives.
**2. Supply Chain Management:**
a. Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including vendor management, procurement, inventory planning, and demand forecasting.
Ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs and stock-outs.
b. Build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and continually evaluate vendor performance to drive cost savings and quality improvements.
**3. Performance Analysis and Reporting:**
a. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance, identify trends, and drive data-informed decision-making.
b. Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth and profitability enhancement.
c. Prepare regular reports and presentations on operational performance, highlighting key insights and recommendations to senior management.
**4. Team Leadership and Development:**
a. Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-performance.
b. Set clear goals and expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
c. Identify training and development needs, and facilitate relevant training programs to enhance team capabilities and operational effectiveness.
**Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
2. Proven experience as an Operations Manager or a similar role within the e-commerce industry.
3. Strong demonstrated understanding of e-commerce operations, including supply chain management, inventory control, and fulfillment processes.
4. Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and profitability through operational optimization.
5. Proficiency in analyzing data, generating insights, and using metrics to drive decision-making.
7. Strong problem-solving and project management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and senior management.
