Job Description

The Airbnb Cleaning Services Coordinator is a FULL-TIME position created last year and tested with great results for our company and staff. We are rapidly growing within the airbnb cleaning sector in South East Queensland, Australia. This position is the main liaison between clients and our ground cleaning teams.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised and diligent. Attention to detail is your superpower! You love systems and processes and you especially love being able to create new systems to support your work. You love ticking things off the ToDo list. You love chasing things down the rabbit hole to make sure they are done. You can work with urgency. You can also work with longer timeframes. You will be able to triage between urgent tasks, important tasks and nice to do tasks! Communicating efficiently will be your big challenge. You are a fast learner. You are smart and switched on. You are happy to take on constructive feedback because it helps to improve systems and workflow. You are excited about working with a growing team in a fast paced environment. You are always seeking to understand first.

We have a Google Spreadsheet we use to manage our services. You will use that to record minute-to-minute changes.

You will also be working with other platforms, so will need to feel comfortable with using new technologies. The use of templates will be your best friend.

You will be the point of contact for many things, meaning you will first need to understand how everything works and why it works this way. What is our role and responsibilities within the chain of services. Who pays for the services. These and many other factors in a very niche industry.

You will coordinate each and every cleaning service while you are on your shift, and detail what ever tasks need to be left pending for the next day.

You will be fast in making last minute changes (in real time). Taking decisions with the limited information you may have at the time.

You will understand the information and instructions you pass to our cleaning crews. You will seek for missing information proactively before you are asked for it.

You will work directly with our Head of the coordination team.

Ideally, you will have the ambition in learning new things, as this is a starting position with endless possibilities of movement within the team.

You need to be:

-Able to communicate really clearly and efficiently with other people
-Able to work independently and with a high degree of accuracy
-Strong knowledge of Google Spreadsheets.

-Able to handle multiple tasks at once (but also be systematic)
-Trustworthy and have integrity.
-Thrive in a growing environment.

Your Infrastructure
– You need to have a desktop computer or laptop
– a high-speed, reliable internet connection
– a backup power source or the ability to go somewhere else in the event of a brownout or blackout
– a quality headset (though phone calls are very rare)

The shift we are looking to fill is a 41-hour a week, distributed as follows:
Wednesdays 9am to 9pm
Saturday 9am to 9pm
Sundays 9am to 9pm
Thursdays 10am to 3pm
*Brisbane, Australia time
