Copy Line Editor Needed Long-Term for Multiple Projects

I am seeking an Experienced line editor who can take my 33k rough draft manuscript and turn it into a best-seller on Amazon.

This will be the first in a series of books I plan on publishing. The goal is to have at least three to four more done in 2024. I am looking for someone to be my go-to person when a line editor is needed.

This first book will be about AI and its impact on our Educational System.

Currently, in the Manuscript draft, the chapters are as follows:

Since this manuscript was pieced together from different notes and sources, the biggest job you will have will be to remove the repetitiveness throughout the manuscript.

For example, it will introduce and talk about different AI tools in one chapter, and then a couple of chapters later, it will introduce the same AI tool again and explain its use in a different way. I need you to determine if having it in both places is appropriate, removing it in one place, or combining them together is the best course of action.

If this causes some of the content to be removed, reordered, or lengthened, it is okay. The only requirement is that when done, it must be greater than 30K words.

Besides providing you with the Manuscript, I will also provide you with the basic outline and an alternative manuscript you can use to extract from to put in the finished one if needed.

Another thing to be done is to remove references implying I am a teacher. You may find things like “…a new tool for OUR teaching arsenal…” I am an IT Specialist who worked with AI, not a teacher. So, these types of things will need to be reworded.

Also, even though the tone and flow of the writing are too bad, I need you to work to see if it can be improved. I want it to be an easy read, not use big, overcomplicated words, and, of course, correct any grammatical and punctuation errors I may have missed.

3. Must be a native English writer with excellent grammar and sentence structure.

Experience in writing about Tech or AI is preferred but not an absolute. Books on other topics may come up in the future as well. Feel free to provide any samples of work that you have done in the past.
