Copy Writer

We are seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and ethical Copy Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent English skills, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to work well within a team. This role will primarily involve creating compelling content for landing pages, with the assistance of AI tools, aimed at ranking on search engine results and local search results.

Responsibilities:

– Utilize AI tools to generate initial drafts of content for various landing pages.
– Edit and refine AI-generated content to ensure it aligns with the business voice and style, and resonates with the target audience.
– Work with the SEO team to conduct the appropriate keyword research and incorporate SEO best practices to optimize content for search engine rankings and local search results.
– Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create visually appealing and engaging content.
– Work with the SEO team to monitor content performance and make adjustments as necessary to improve visibility and engagement.
– Ensure all content adheres to copyright laws and company policies.
– Proactively take initiatives to improve content quality and performance.

Qualifications:

– Proven experience in content creation, preferably with experience in using AI tools although not required.
– Excellent command of English and strong editing skills.
– Knowledge of SEO and how to incorporate keywords into content for optimal ranking.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Strong understanding of the target audience and ability to create content that appeals to them.
– Excellent communication and teams skills communicating over Slack and meetings.
– Proven ability to meet monthly KPIs and work with minimal supervision.
– Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be proactive in their work.

Preferred Skills:

– Experience with AI content generation tools.
– Familiarity with local SEO strategies.
– Ability to analyze content performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
