Copywriter

We are seeking a talented and versatile individual to join our team as a Copywriter.

First, a little about the business….

Dr. Peter A. James is a serial entrepreneur who owns and manages multiple businesses related to leadership development, executive coaching, real estate and higher education. It is his goal to build thriving and sustainable businesses in these different areas.

Responsibilities:

Copywriting:
-Develop compelling and engaging content for various platforms, including websites, social media, marketing materials, and promotional campaigns.
-Craft clear and persuasive messaging that aligns with the brand’s values and resonates with our target audience.
-Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure consistent brand communication across all channels.
-Create PowerPoint presentations including illustrative charts and graphs.
-Produce well-written content that is SEO friendly and optimized for conversion
-Create compelling ad copy, landing pages, and marketing campaigns
-Write high-quality product and service descriptions and provide supporting content
-Brainstorm and manage projects and juggle multiple deliverables
-Define key messages and brand voice for external communications
-Writing clear and error-free content for a website that reflects the company’s voice.
-Meeting with clients to understand their message, brand voice and target audience (as needed).
-Interpreting creative direction and technical information and turning them into persuasive copy concepts.
-Collaborating with marketing to brainstorm and develop a variety of marketing materials.
-Working with clients to edit and modify copy to meet their content expectations (as needed).

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or a related field.
-2+ years of experience in copywriting.
-Excellent writing and editing skills.
-Strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, and style.
-Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
