POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented Senior DTC (Direct to Consumer, Direct Response) Copywriter with expertise in acquisitions and branding to join our team. This role reports directly to the Creative Director and will support all Omni-channel brand initiatives. This person will be responsible for crafting copy that speaks to our target audience, maintaining consistency in voice and tone. They will create copy for upsells, funnels, ads, landing pages, websites, amazon, and more – testing and optimizing creatives to achieve sales and revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing killer AD copy for Google and social media, as well as creating compelling VSLs. Additionally, they should have a passion for wellness and experience working in the supplement industry.

-Craft compelling and effective copy for Slate, maintaining consistency in brand voice and tone, brand guidelines, compliance and overall project goals
-Write clear, concise, and persuasive copy for Google and social media ads (Facebook, IG, YouTube, etc.)
-Create engaging video sales letters (VSLs) that drive conversions and revenue
-Develop a deep understanding of Slates target audience and messaging strategy
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams (brand marketing, design, media buyers, product development, etc.) to create effective marketing campaigns and test, optimize, test…
-Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends to inform copywriting strategies and present our products to various target markets on different platforms in the most effective ways
-Prioritize multiple projects and deliver highly effective and creative work
-Grow and improve direct marketing guidelines and develop a bookmark of DM templates
-Write weekly blogs that include keywords and help with SEO

COMPETENCIES

Expert written, verbal and presentation skills
Must be results focused, detail-oriented, and be able to juggle multiple priorities in order to meet deadlines
Digital first approach. Knowledge of tracking digital marketing efforts in order to measure results
Expert on posting, scheduling, and monitoring coordinated, effective, and engaging social media posts and managing corporate/fan social media accounts
Experience with Apple/Mac products
Effective copywriting skills for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, funnel campaigns, social media posts, articles, products and all assets and marketing campaigns we generate
