Position Summary:
We are looking for a top-level sales copywriter (full-time) who can create very engaging content for Shopify websites and Amazon product listing titles, bullet points, and A+ content. This successful candidate will be working closely with our sales director and the internal sales team.
The candidate:
– Must have a proven track record for producing high-engagement direct response copy
– Must have solid understanding of sales funnels and product launch strategy
– Must have experience writing content for Amazon brands
– Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
– Must have enthusiastic attitude
– Must have at least 3 years of experience
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Content creation for e-mail marketing, social media, and brand content
– Create and post on-brand social media content that appeals to our target audiences, using appropriate hashtags, geotags, captions
– Write engaging and on-topic blog posts, implementing SEO practices for improving search rankings
– Work alongside Sales Manager, to learn about our services, customers, and sales processes and suggest content
– Maintain a consistent schedule for creating/posting content and deliver on time
– Collaborate on new product launches and come up with content for the listing
– Write engagement copy for sales funnels, ppc ads, and landing pages
– Determines what research, if any, is necessary to achieve the final written product
– Researches and verifies information for topics and issues, using credible sources
– Actively research and develop new sources of content
– Generate head-to-head comparisons on competitor content
– Writes in a clear, concise style suitable for marketing materials or product information
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Excellent verbal and written English
– Good and reliable internet connection
– Good and reliable laptop or PC

– Full Honesty and Transparency
– Education in English, Communications, Journalism, Professional Writing or equivalent education
– Three years directly relevant work experience
– Demonstrated ability to generate original concepts and ideas, given strategic direction
– Portfolio which demonstrates talent and ability
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a team
– Demonstrated ability to take direction from several individuals, and adapt to a constantly changing, fast-paced environment
– Intermediate level of computer literacy including Microsoft Word. Possesses fast and accurate keyboard skills
