Job Description:

My company builds websites for home improvement services (e.g., roofing, plumbing, concrete, etc) in US cities and uses search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to rank them high enough to generate leads. The main job description for this position is to create content for those websites. You will write content for the home and service pages of the websites and you will write blog content as well. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to grow and manage other tasks within the business as well if you are the right fit for our company.

Required Technical Skills and Experience:
-Must have good English writing skills
-Ability to research and write about a topic that is unfamiliar to you
-Must have an intermediate understanding of SEO ranking factors

-Resourceful: must be able to research and find information about various topics.
-Open and clear communication is very important. I am looking for someone who can accept constructive feedback to grow into larger roles within the business. I also want someone who shares ideas if they think something could benefit the business or their job efficiency. I expect you to ask questions if something is unclear and communicate anything else that can lead to you having more satisfaction on the job.

Basic Skills:
-Google Docs
-Google Sheets
-Google Calendar
-Microsoft Word
-Microsoft Excel
-Communication Apps (Zoom, Skype, Slack, FB Messenger, etc.)

Desired Technical Skills:
-Wordpress and website development
-Proficiency with AI tools like ChatGPT
-Ability to do keyword research and write content using keywords

Work Schedule and Holidays
-Full time position (40 hours per week). Time does not be recorded. Your work will be judged on your production and quality.
-You can work any time that is convenient for you
-We will have a weekly video conference to review job requirements, and discuss questions you have, and talk about any recommendations you have for making processes more efficient.

Salary
-$700/month
-You will qualify for the 13th month after a 6 month probation period.
