RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Write news-style articles focused on business, economics, and finance in the Asian market.
* Produce high-quality, engaging, and informative content tailored for the target audience, ensuring adherence to British English standards and editorial guidelines.
* Conduct thorough research to gather accurate and up-to-date information on relevant topics.
* Analyze financial reports, market trends, and economic data to inform article content, ensuring accuracy, objectivity, and fairness.
* Fact-check all information and data before publication to maintain credibility.
* Work closely with editors, graphic designers, and other team members to produce cohesive content.
* Communicate effectively with the editorial team to pitch ideas, receive feedback, and contribute to content planning and strategy.
* Participate in editorial meetings to discuss content ideas and strategies.
* Implement SEO best practices to enhance article visibility and search engine ranking.
* Write compelling headlines and summaries to attract and retain readers.
* Monitor audience engagement and feedback to refine content strategy and improve reader satisfaction.
* Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.
* Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely delivery of articles without compromising quality.
* Review and edit articles to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to the tone and style guidelines.
* Assist in proofreading and copy-editing content produced by other team members as needed.
* Stay informed about the latest developments in business, economics, and finance, particularly in the Asian region.

REQUIREMENTS:
* At least 3 years of experience in news-style journalism focused on business, economics, and finance, with a demonstrable portfolio of published articles showcasing expertise in these areas.
* Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in British English, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging news-style articles.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret and simplify complex financial data, complemented by excellent research abilities to gather accurate information from diverse sources.
* Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools, alongside familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content strategies.
* Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective conveyance of ideas and information.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment, managing tasks with competing priorities and deadlines.
* Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a dynamic work environment, demonstrating the ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
