Working Hours: Eastern Standard Time (EST)

Key Responsibilities:

– Cost Accounting: Conduct detailed cost analysis to support project management and ensure accurate project costing.
– Book Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the books.
– Budgeting: Develop, implement, and manage budgeting processes to align with the company’s financial goals.
– QuickBooks Management: Utilize your extensive QuickBooks experience to manage the financial records, including classes within QuickBooks for detailed reporting.
– Payroll Management: Run payroll and reconcile payroll accounts based on sales rep performance, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
– Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including budget vs. actual reports and project profitability analysis.
– Data Analysis: Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and support decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
– Proven experience in cost accounting, preferably within the construction or storm restoration industry.
– Extensive experience with QuickBooks, including managing classes and detailed financial reporting.
– Mastery of Excel, with the ability to create complex financial models and reports.
– Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
