Cost Planning Manager

Arcadia is a long-established Australian Company who design, manufacture and install innovative and customised Façade elements such as Performance Louvres, Façade screening, Solarshading and Perforated Facades.

We have an existing team of Estimators based in the Philippines carrying out a portion of the scoping and costing function and we are looking to expand this.

Scoping & Quantity Surveying:

You would be responsible for managing this locally in the Philippines, in conjunction with the AUS based team:

Receive and managing live tenders and projects requiring costing including meeting deadlines set, including allocation of work across the team
Ensure the team are accurately understanding the scope of works to be priced and assessing this based on Arcadia project parameters
Ensure the team are accurately scoping the works and quantifying the relevant products to be included
Oversee that drawings, specifications, engineering docs and products are being accurately read and allowed for

Cost Planning Manager

You would be responsible for managing this locally in the Philippines, in conjunction with the AUS based team:

Guide the local team in product selection based on products shown on the architectural drawings
Review and provide input into costing breakups including;m aterial buildups, selections, rates, specifications
Labour – calculation of labour timing and efficiency factors based on project size
Freight – calculation of freight costs and buildups
Installation – build up and estimation of product installation time and quantification
Your Skills

Excellent communication skills to enable communication with the local team in Philippines and the Team in Australia
Self-motivated and able to take full ownership and responsibility for quality and quantity of work
Able to travel to Australia 4-6 times a year for a 2 week period for training and building a strong interface with the AUS team
Able to lead , teach, guide, and manage local teams working remotely/ from home
Strong excel skills
Strong ability to read architectural drawings
Not essential but very helpful if the candidate has CAD skills

Worked previously with other companies based in USA, UK, UAE, Japan, or Singapore etc….
Previously managed staff
Had detailed involvment in façade products/ metalwork/balustrade/HVAC detailed costing buildups

All IT equipment is provided, however, you will need access to your own internet. Health cover and work from home allowance provided.
