County Records Researcher Position Available
Our real estate company is currently seeking a full-time County Records Researcher to join our team! As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for efficiently navigating the websites of various state and city counties to access public records such as pre-foreclosure, probate, and other pertinent data. Proficiency in filling out FOIL requests from each city’s county is a must for this role.
We are specifically seeking freelancers for this position; agencies need not apply.
Compensation: Hourly rate up to $8
Requirements:
Comfortable with utilizing Google search and other sources.
Availability during USA work hours.
Experience in web research with county records IS A MUST.
Possess critical thinking skills.
Persistence and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Efficiently navigating each state and city’s county websites to access public records.
Familiarity with filling out FOIL requests from each city’s county.
Collecting and recording data.
Creating profiles for real estate leads, including basic information, relatives, and finding phone numbers.
Utilizing various research tools and techniques effectively.
Maintaining a strong attention to detail throughout all tasks.
Preferred qualifications:
Proven experience as a web researcher or similar role.
Familiarity with various research tools and techniques.

3. Locate and access pre-foreclosure records for properties within the county. Pay attention to details such as property addresses, foreclosure statuses, and relevant dates.
4. Next, find probate records for estates within the county. Look for information such as names of deceased individuals, estate administrators, and details about probate proceedings.
5. As you navigate through the website, demonstrate your ability to efficiently search for specific records and extract relevant information.
6. Lastly, summarize the process you followed and any challenges you encountered during the task.
Requirements:
Record your screen and narrate your actions using (create a free account).
The video should be no longer than 5 minutes.
Clearly articulate your thought process and actions as you navigate the county website.
Highlight your ability to locate and extract relevant public records accurately.
