Job Description

Role Overview:
We are seeking a CPA to oversee our accounting processes, ensuring the accuracy of our financial documents, and providing insights to support our business decisions. This role will be instrumental in managing our day-to-day financial operations, including tax filings, payroll, and generating critical financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Reconciling Accounts: Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled monthly.
Financial Reporting: Generate accurate and timely Profit & Loss (P&L) reports and Balance Sheets each month to provide a clear view of the company’s financial health.
Payroll Management: Oversee the payroll process, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time while complying with tax laws and regulations.
KPI Tracking: Monitor and analyze marketing and sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), Return on Investment (ROI), and other essential metrics to support strategic decision-making.
Profit Analysis: Calculate profit on each order, identifying opportunities for margin improvement and cost reduction.

Qualifications:

Certification: Preferred possession of a Certified Public Accountant (Philippines) license with demonstrated experience in US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and knowledge of US tax laws. Alternatively, candidates with an international accounting certification such as ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) or US CPA certification are highly desirable.

Experience with US Accounting: Proven experience working with US-based clients or companies, with a strong understanding of US tax laws, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance. Familiarity with the IRS regulations and the ability to handle tax filings for US entities is essential.

Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software commonly used in the US, such as QuickBooks, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to US businesses. Experience in generating and interpreting financial reports according to US standards.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English. Ability to present financial data and provide insights in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.

Detail-oriented: Attention to detail and precision in handling accounting tasks, financial analysis, and reporting.
