A1 Stone World is seeking a Accountant/Finance Manager/Bookkeeper who will be responsible for the financial stability of the company. The position will be producing financial reports and developing strategies, and execute and monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.

Responsibilities:
– Manage reconciliation of expenses via
– Prepare and provide monthly PnL reports, cash flow, balance sheet, and forecasting
– Process accounts payable via
– Receive and properly record uploaded AR/AP transactions
– Prepare, review, process payroll, including PTO accrual – work with in-house HR manager to process.
– Verify and coordinate payment to independent contractors – installers of countertops
– Preparation of the company annual budget
– Reports directly to our director of “People and Culture” as well as the CEO/owner.
– Cash flow analysis and financial forecasting for the company – use of Fathom or other software. See
-Monitor and Establish controls for all spending
Qualifications:
– CPA
– Minimum of 5 years of proven strong financial management experience. 10 + yrs exp is an advantage.
-Must understand US accounting practices (GAAP) and seek guidance from contracted CPA or other tax professionals within sphere of A1 Stone World. (will be provided).
– Experience in creating SOPs, payroll processing, and collections
– Experience in reviewing financial statements/reports with CEO
– Leadership and strong decision-making skills
– Excellent oral and written communication skills
– Must be available to work full time (40 hours per week) – EST
– Familiarity with inter-office communication applications to communicate and coordinate with the rest of the team
– This is a remote position so reliable Internet and a comfortable and professional workspace including webcam, and noise-cancelling headset are mandatory.
– Required PC specs – core i5 with 8GB RAM or higher.
– Must be tech savvy. Has the initiative to explore and navigate through client websites to reference payment-related concerns.
– Must be able to work quickly, type quickly, and meet deadlines (to close books and create presentations on our financial picture).
– Be flexible and coordinate the relationship between various departments; Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.
– Make estimates of funds required for the short and long-term financial objectives of the organization.
-Must know how to work efficiently and time block but can also multi-task if needed.
-Be available to work on special projects even if they fall outside of the financial environment directly.
