We are in need of a detail-oriented and experienced VA Accountant/manager with a strong background in accounting, particularly with QuickBooks. We are seeking a proactive and skilled individual to join our team and support our property management operations.
You will be working for a company that manages several small businesses, most of which are in real estate both property management and fix n flips. We also have companies that do equipment rentals, contract labor, dog scent detection, and farming, and even online sales. We are a small team and work closely with one another. Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
Bookkeeping: With our unique model we manage several LLC’s with one parent company. We do this in one quick books using businesses (locations) and then uses “classes” to manage the properties. If you have experience with this please let us know it will be a huge plus, if not we can train it if the rest of your accounting back ground is strong.
Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights into companies and properties performance.
Data Entry: Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records for multiple small companies.
Taxes: Preparing and submitting tax reports for sales, payroll, and end of year.
Additional preferred experience: Payroll, forecasting, budgeting, and expense monitoring.
Requirements:
Proven Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant, specifically in accounting.
QuickBooks Proficiency: Strong command of QuickBooks with the ability to navigate and utilize its features efficiently.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple properties seamlessly.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with team members, property owners and vendors in English.
Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and reporting.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues promptly.
Preferred other skills:
Experience with: Buildium, , Gmail, Hubstaff, and Slack.
