Create 3D Models of Products using available 2D images

Hello,

We have a growing inventory of 466 light products (will continue to grow overtime) that we display on our catalogue website (Shopify). We are looking to generate 3D models that replicate the reference images to each detail and to real-world scale as we will be implementing AR to our website.

We are seeking to work with a 3D designer who specializes in product design. Our ideal partner is someone who is seeking a longer term partnership as we have a large inventory. We would be seeking to start with a few of our collections, and work on delivering the rest of the inventory over a course of a few months.

File formats we are seeking for the 3D models are GLB and USDZ. They should be compatible across all browsers, iOS and Android. We will either be using model-viewer by Google for the 3D render or Shopify’s built-in 3D model support.

The 2D images will be provided. The dimensions to make it real-world scale will be provided. We are seeking someone who is looking to take on a challenge and push their design skills further as our lights are elegant with details.

Initially, we are seeking to start with 50-100 of our lights/products for a single collection. Please provide the following with your submission:

– Examples of your 3D models focused on products
– Timeline to complete the initial task or relatively how long it would take you to complete a model (we are aware it will be based on model complexity)
– Cost per model
– Programs you use to 3D design (preference for Blender due to diverse export options)

You must be open to joining our Slack channel to make day-to-day discussions more effective. As we mentioned, we are seeking to work with someone long-term and build a relationship.

There is more than enough work for some time. Please consider providing us with a good deal as there will be over 400+ models created.

You must be open to generating a sample based on the example we share during our discussions togeter to ensure you can deliver what we are seeking.
