We are a startup using AI to track and predict policy, regulations and laws for emerging markets. We currently are working on China and India with products that aid portfolio management, trading performance and geo-political monitoring. Our clients include hedge funds, NYSE listed companies and Fortune 500 companies.
We are currently a small team of 7, with an office in Hong Kong.
We have recently raised an oversubscribed seed round and are looking for a new team member to help us accelerate product development. Joining now is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of something hugely are seeking an ideal candidate for the role of Administrative Assistant with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be conscientious, highly organized, and detail-oriented. Additionally, they should be hardworking, a quick learner, and have the ability to self-manage as our team operates with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will work with our existing Administrative Assistant. The work hours are from 9am – 6pm HKT, but our Administrative Assistants may sometimes work outside of these times to support our team.
Bonus points will be awarded to candidates with prior startup experience.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, fights and emails
Administrative tasks like filling out paperwork, filing tax forms, light bookkeeping, upload receipts for reimbursements, issuing payroll
Creating and maintaining documentation like company processes, transcribing audio notes provided by the CEO
Following up and executing on tasks with clients, like invoicing and monitoring the delivery of in progress projects
Ad hoc research tasks as needed
Content Creation (often with the direction of our team)
Collaborate with team members to develop content ideas and themes.
Conduct research and gather information to generate compelling and informative content for various channels, including blog posts, newsletters, and social media.
Design and create visually stunning pitch decks that effectively communicate complex ideas and data.
Social Media Management
Develop and implement social media strategies, ,onitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and engage with the online community.
Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to measure campaign effectiveness.
Ensure content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and voice.
Video Editing:
Edit and enhance raw video footage to create professional, engaging videos.
Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and animations to elevate video content.
Ensure videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual style.
Optimize videos for different platforms and formats.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in content creation, including writing, visual and graphic design.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong proficiency in social media platforms and social media management tools.
Proficient with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Expertise in visual design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
Nice to have
Knowledge of digital marketing principles and best practices.
Familiarity with analytics tools to measure social media and content performance.
