JOB SUMMARY
WCP Consulting & Communications™ uses social media marketing to promote our client’s brands, build good-will and increase strength of message for client’s legal cases, while also presenting our brand to broader target audiences.
Our Social Media and Creative Content Manager is directly responsible for managing the social media presence of our portfolio of clients and also our own brand. Working closely with division leaders, clients and colleagues and third-party providers, this person will create content strategies that stimulate engagement and grow following across multiple social media platforms.
This person must be passionate about social media, marketing and cultivating relationships within the online community. The person must be gifted in generating a buzz and creating content that broadcasts the fullness of our brand and our client’s desired messaging. There must be a commitment to strengthening our brand voice across digital platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Curate/publish original quality content on all social media accounts (community and corporate pages) to drive brand awareness and grow engagement for WCP & WCP Clients
• Develop content strategies and create social buzz specific to development, launches of new communities and WCP Client initiatives (legal and otherwise).
• Leverage the advantages of social media promotions/contests, influencer marketing campaigns, social media audits, infographics, hashtags, memes, Facebook Live, etc.
• Develop and maintain regular and frequent cadence of original and repurposed content for Company pages, collaborating with Clients, etc.
• Liaise with graphics team, Director of Development, Technical team and webmaster to ensure content is on brand and campaigns are optimized.
• Stay current with trends in social/online culture and the PR / legal industry; Apply new technologies and best practices in social media.
• Build strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, social SEO, and audience identification to grow our following.
• Moderate and respond to user-generated content in line with WCP policy.
• Monitor and manage boosted posts for communities as budget allows.
• Share targeted content from website blog on social channels, increase blog readership through social media engagement.
• Set quantifiable annual goals for each platform; define, measure, and evaluate relevant social KPIs and ROI, including for paid media.
• Set content calendar for each platform (B2B, B2C) in step with goals.
• Train/mentor internal teams on weekly submissions to maintain a cohesive social strategy; encourage participation with responsive and courteous helps, leveling up the quality and variety of submissions.
• Prepare monthly performance reports on key metrics against goals; analyze using FB’s native predictive analytics and Tapclick analytics to drive continuous improvement and reinforce key brand messages.
• Provide weekly reports and general updates at bi-weekly team meetings.
• Support central marketing by assisting with the related duties of a marketing manager. Examples:
· e-Blasting on behalf of communities: use creative pieces uploaded to Dropbox.
· Videography: iMovie (or equivalent simple video software) production using raw footage from communities and stills; videos used on website, FB and other digital campaigns
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field
• 4+ years of hands-on social media and content creation experience managing multiple brands and/or accounts
• Passion for technology and all things digital: trends vs. fads, algorithm changes, emerging technologies, adopting new platforms, tactics
· Experience with content management tools like Hootsuite, and social analytics, listening and management platforms and Constant Contact.
· Self-motivated, collaborative, experienced in multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
· Strong copywriting skills in a style conducive to social media
· Strong organizational, analytical, prioritization and decision-making skills
· Experience with image resourcing and some graphic design
· Experience with boosted posts and paid social ads / experience with Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads
· Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator experience or a proclivity for graphic design
· Basic knowledge of video editing
