As the Creative Director for our ecommerce business, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing our design team to ensure the delivery of high-quality visual content that aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our target audience.
Your role will involve providing strategic direction, conceptualizing creative ideas, and maintaining consistency across all design assets. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to translate business objectives into compelling visual narratives, thereby enhancing brand awareness and driving engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
-Creative Strategy: Develop and implement creative strategies that align with the overall brand vision and marketing objectives.
-Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of designers, video editors, and other creative professionals to achieve excellence in design output.
-Content Creation: Oversee the creation of visual content across various channels, including website, social media, email campaigns, and advertising materials.
-Brand Identity: Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all design assets, maintaining brand integrity and recognition.
-Concept Development: Generate innovative and compelling concepts for marketing campaigns, product launches, and other brand initiatives.
-Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand their requirements and provide creative solutions that meet their needs.
-Quality Assurance: Review and provide feedback on design work to ensure adherence to brand guidelines, quality standards, and project deadlines.
-Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Job Requirements:
-Proven experience in a creative leadership role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful design projects across multiple platforms.
-In-depth knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
-Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
-Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving business results through creative solutions.

Job Qualifications:
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in design creatives or a related field, with at least 2-3 years in leadership.
-Demonstrated track record of developing creative concepts and executing design projects from concept to completion.
-Experience working in the ecommerce industry or with consumer-facing brands, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities in digital marketing and online retail.
-Proven ability to analyze data and metrics to inform design decisions and optimize performance.
-Experience managing external creative agencies or freelancers, as well as internal design teams, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality work.
-Passion for creativity and innovation, with a drive to push boundaries and explore new ideas to elevate the brand’s visual identity and storytelling.
