We are seeking a Creative Director with a strong focus on e-commerce advertising and optimization. This role involves creating visually compelling and high-converting ads, leading split testing, and optimizing ad performance. Proficiency in graphic design and video editing is essential. The successful candidate will also collaborate closely with our media buyer to coordinate testing and optimization strategies. This role has the potential for team management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and produce engaging, conversion-focused ads for our e-commerce platform.
Spearhead split testing initiatives to continuously improve ad performance.
Collaborate closely with our media buyer to determine the direction for testing and optimization for performance.
Use data insights to inform creative strategies and optimize campaigns.
Stay abreast of the latest trends in e-commerce advertising and digital marketing.
Guide and oversee the work of designers and editors, ensuring brand consistency and quality.
Manage the creative process from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in creating high-converting e-commerce ads.
Skilled in graphic design and video editing, supported by a robust portfolio.
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, particularly in ad optimization.
Excellent analytical skills for interpreting performance data and making informed creative decisions.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly in coordination with a media buyer.
Potential experience in leading and managing a creative team.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
All of this aside if you’re still paying attention, I need you to do a trial run for me to prove you have the skills I’m looking for. I’m not doing a paid trial, if you’re highly skilled this will be an extremely quick task for you. My main objective is to develop a highly efficient system for a creative director to take creatives from ecom products that are performing and changing the hooks, adding AI voice, changing clip sequences, including graphics, transitions, etc whatever needs to be done to make an improved, optimized version of the creative with higher potential to convert. The goal is to get lower cpms, lower CPC, higher CTR on these ads by leveraging scroll stoppers and hooks, and then also keep them captivated through improved sequencing, etc.
I need you to have already worked with ecom products and brands where you’re constantly testing and iterating on new creative in a structured, systematic way. Your goal is to make the highest converting ads possible and there will be performance incentives associated with that. I’m attaching clips from examples of performing ads that I need you to make me 2-3 clips where you’ve changed the hooks and improved the ad to make it more engaging. The hook is the most important aspect here so make it POP more, think “would this make me stop scrolling” because if not, then other people definitely feel the same way, the goal is lower cpms, higher ctr, lower cpc. Take the clips and make some kickass new creatives and we can do some awesome work together.
