Creative Video Editor/Animator for Diverse Projects

Job Description:

We are a growing company with a passion for enriching lives through our digital products, including the innovative Star Rewards app and Guitarist Academy, an online platform for guitar enthusiasts, plus other.

We’re in search of a versatile Video Editor/Animator who can create engaging, high-quality video content for our various projects.

This role requires a blend of animation skills to bring stories to life and editing prowess to enhance educational ‘talking head’ style videos, inspired by creators like Ali Abdaal.

Responsibilities:

– Design and animate engaging graphics, characters, and scenes that capture the essence of our brand and the functionality of our apps.
– Edit and produce video content, adding dynamic effects, captivating music, and sound effects to maximize engagement.
– Tailor content for various social media platforms, focusing on Instagram Reels, ensuring each piece resonates with our target audience
– Edit and refine ‘talking head’ instructional videos for Guitarist Academy, incorporating dynamic elements to maintain viewer engagement and enhance learning outcomes.
– Collaborate with our team to conceptualize video projects, ensuring alignment with each brand’s goals and audience preferences.
– Manage the complete video production process from storyboard to final edit, including graphics creation, sound design, and editing.
– Adapt content to suit various platforms, focusing on social media engagement and educational effectiveness.

Requirements:

– Proven experience in both creative animation and sophisticated video editing, with a portfolio that demonstrates a range of skills from engaging animations to polished educational content.
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop) or similar software.
– Experience with Powtoons or similar software
– Strong storytelling ability, with a knack for translating ideas and scripts into a compelling visual narrative.
– Excellent time management and communication skills, capable of working independently on multiple projects with varying deadlines.
– A passion for creativity and innovation, constantly seeking new ways to captivate and educate our diverse audience.
