Creative Video Editor for Growing YouTube Channel

Hi, I’m looking for a creative video editor for my YouTube channel and courses. My content is around WordPress (especially Elementor) and web design. And most of my videos are tutorials.

I’m gearing up to start my next course and plan to launch 2 more by the end of the year and will need an editor that has an understanding of the content I create (web design & WordPress) to help me create awesome content.

I’m looking to work with someone long term on a salary as my channel is growing (now at 14k subs and 45k views per month).

The video editing style I’m aiming for: To make my videos easy to follow and fun with clean editing that has minimal and modern transitions and effects. Also, I welcome your own creativity. Having skills in AE (or Motion) for animated effects is a huge bonus!

My YouTube videos average 7-18 minutes each. I don’t do shorts but it would be great to have current videos repurposed into shorts. And my course videos are around 5-20 minutes each.

Up until now, I’ve been doing all of my own editing, but it’s time to bring on a full time or part time editor so I can focus on creating more content and courses. I’m looking to create around 2-3 YouTube videos per week and monthly mini-courses for YouTube (these are full how to build a website videos that would be around 3-4 hours long each). Also, I’m looking to start my next course soon.

I want to bring on a new team mate to partner longterm. I work with a small team now and have been with everyone for multiple years. I believe we should have creative freedom also have jobs we enjoy that allow us to live good lives. I honor holidays, respect free time, and don’t think anyone working on a full time gig should work more than 40 hours and 5 days a week in their schedule. We need to enjoy our lives and do what we love.
