Job Description

Parity is seeking a full time Creative Writer and Marketing Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting compelling narratives and engaging content. This individual will play a pivotal role in creating content that resonates with our audience. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing principles and the ability to create content that drives conversion.

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer, Bree Jones
Works Closely With: Director of Homebuyer Success, Director of Strategic Initiatives, Director of Development

Key Responsibilities

Letter from the CEO
– Craft articulate and insightful thought pieces on behalf of the CEO to communicate with key supporters, donors, investors, and stakeholders.
– Capture and convey the company’s vision, values, and strategic initiatives through written content.

Drip Email Campaigns
– Develop and implement drip email campaigns that are strategically designed to convert readers into customers and/or donors.
– Tailor content to different stages of the customer journey, ensuring a seamless and compelling experience.

Homebuying and Homeownership Curriculum
– Create educational content and curriculum to guide customers through the homebuying process.
– Translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand, engaging materials that empower and inform our audience.

Newsletters
– Write captivating newsletters that not only inform but also inspire action, whether it be a purchase, donation, or engagement.
– Employ data-driven insights to optimize content for conversion and audience retention.

Canva Design
– Work in Canva to design company’s marketing materials, social media posts, and presentations.
– Ensure a cohesive integration of written and visual elements to enhance overall communication effectiveness.

Requirements
– Proven experience as a Creative Writer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing diverse writing styles.
– Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively and adapt writing style to suit various projects and audiences.
– Proficiency in content creation tools, including Canva and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
– Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Excellent project management skills, and the ability to oversee an initiative from conception to delivery.
– A self-starter, comfortable with working autonomously, and able to hold yourself to self-appointed deliverables.
– High attention to detail, thorough, and evaluation of work product for errors.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
– Familiarity with the homebuying process is a plus.
