We are currently looking for a highly skilled Creative Video Editor and Social Media Content Creator to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor and Social Media Content Creator who is passionate about storytelling through short and long-form video content. The ideal candidate is proficient in creating highly engaging content for social media platforms, specifically focusing on REELS for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts, as well as editing full-length YouTube videos.
Key Responsibilities:
Sift through raw footage to select the best shots and soundbites.
Cut and edit video content into engaging, educational short form REELS for crossposting on various social media platforms.
Edit long-form YouTube videos using our raw footage, incorporating creative editing techniques, graphics, animations, and texts to keep the audience engaged.
Continuously innovate and come up with fresh ideas to ensure our content stays ahead of the curve.
Collaborate with our founder Jordan Terrell and the wider team to ensure that the content aligns with our brand’s voice and goals.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Video Editor and Social Media Content Creator.
Proficient in video editing software (Davinci Resolve Is A Huge Plus) and graphic design tools.
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
Strong portfolio showcasing your video editing and content creation skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects concurrently.
Exceptional attention to detail, and creativity.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
High-speed upload and download speeds required with no internet outtages.
Commitment:
This is a full-time position and not for people who have other clients and video projects on the side. This role would be salary based working between 8 AM (MST) – 5 PM (MST) Monday – Friday (U.S. Based Calendar) – These times in the Philippines are usually overnight hours so you must be able to comfortably and reliably work during these hours.
Salary:
We are offering a training salary for the first 90 days for $500/M paid every 2 weeks. After 90 days, the salary will be raised to $800/M paid every 2 weeks with performance approval to ensure you have learned and improved your craft through our daily revisions and refinement.
