Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Creative Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding, modifying, reviewing, testing, and documenting competitors’ ads to create high-performing, brand-aligned creatives. This role requires proficiency with various ad libraries, spy tools, and editing software.
Responsibilities:
Finding Competitors’ Ads:
Access Facebook Ad Library, TikTok Ad Library, and Competitor Ads.
Search for ads using relevant keywords related to the niche (e.g., “clothing,” “fashion brands”).
Select high-engagement ads that align with the brand’s style and goals.
Save screenshots or URLs of selected ads and update the relevant spreadsheet.
Analyzing and Planning Modifications:
Review and analyze key elements (images, text, sounds) of saved ads.
Plan modifications that align with the brand, ensuring ethical practices.
Document planned modifications and update progress in the spreadsheet.
Modifying Image Creatives:
Use Adobe Photoshop or Photopea to load and modify saved images.
Replace text with brand messaging and adjust visual elements.
Save the modified image, document changes, and update the spreadsheet.
Modifying Video Creatives:
Use Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut to import and modify saved videos.
Replace text overlays, audio, and add brand elements to the video.
Export the modified video, document changes, and update the spreadsheet.
Reviewing and Testing Modified Creatives:
Share modified creatives using Google Drive or Dropbox for internal review.
Collect feedback, make necessary adjustments, and conduct A/B testing.
Monitor performance metrics and analyze results to identify the best-performing creative.
Document feedback and results in the spreadsheet.
Documenting and Storing Creatives:
Set up a folder structure in Google Drive or Dropbox for organizing creatives.
Save final versions and source files of all modified creatives.
Document sources, modifications, and final versions in Google Docs or Microsoft Word.
Regularly update the spreadsheet to track progress and maintain records.
Qualifications:
Proficiency with ad libraries (Facebook Ad Library, TikTok Ad Library) and spy tools.
Experience with image editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Photopea).
Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut).
Strong organizational skills for file management and documentation.
Attention to detail and ability to ensure all elements function correctly.
Basic understanding of copyright laws and ethical modification practices.
Experience with A/B testing and analyzing ad performance metrics is a plus.
