JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative with a strong background in logistics to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service support, managing customer inquiries and orders, and ensuring seamless coordination between various departments to facilitate efficient logistics operations. This role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of logistics processes, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries, concerns, and requests related to logistics operations.
2. Effectively communicate with customers to provide timely updates on order status, shipment tracking, and delivery schedules.
3. Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate and monitor the movement of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
4. Resolve any issues related to shipments, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, by working closely with internal teams and external partners.
5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and inquiries using our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
6. Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and streamline logistics processes, recommending solutions to enhance overall efficiency.
7. Provide support in managing inventory levels, stock replenishment, and product availability, ensuring that customers receive accurate and up-to-date information.
8. Assist in the implementation of strategies to optimize logistics performance and reduce operational costs while maintaining high service standards.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse personnel, transportation providers, and vendors, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of logistics activities.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in logistics and customer service, incorporating relevant knowledge into daily operations and providing recommendations for process enhancements.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
2. Proven experience in customer service roles within the logistics or supply chain industry.
3. Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
5. Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software applications.
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a keen attention to detail.
7. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
8. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
9. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including occasional weekends and extended hours as needed.
10. A customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building lasting customer relationships.
