Job Responsibilities:
Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
Work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver projects on time and to specification.
Convert PSDs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive WordPress sites.
Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and high user engagement.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including server and database issues.
Implement SEO best practices to enhance site visibility and search engine rankings.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Strong understanding of the WordPress core and its functions.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation).
Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
Familiarity with SEO best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with WooCommerce and other popular WordPress plugins.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, ).
Familiarity with web hosting environments and server management.
Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
