Job Description

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Theme Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP. ** Experience developing custom WordPress themes is required. **

This candidate will be responsible for developing custom WordPress themes that will be uploaded to WordPress’s repository of free themes. They will be required to upload all themes to WordPress and to communicate with the WordPress support team as needed.

This candidate will also make regular updates to all free themes and create one new free theme per month.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom WordPress themes using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP

• Optimize themes for speed and performance

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs

• Continuously improve and update themes

• Research and stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies

• Upload new themes to WordPress repository

• Provide daily work updates

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience developing WordPress themes

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP

• Good communication

Our budget for this position is currently $515 per month starting out. We would expect at least 20 hours per week.
