Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Customer Service and Purchasing Specialist to join our team remotely.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
The primary focus of this role will be to provide outstanding customer service and support to our valued clients while executing purchasing tasks and other activities related to product uploads as needed.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email and chat in a professional and courteous manner.
Assist customers with product and order inquiries, general inquiries, deliver quotes and tender submissions.
Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and escalate complex cases to the sales team management.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Work closely with Sales Team management.
Purchasing:
Execute order processing, including placing orders with suppliers and tracking shipments.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues related to orders or shipments.
Coordinate with Accounts Team payments to suppliers.
Work closely with Sales Team updating on any relevant information.
Product Uploads and Data Entry:
Produce CSV files to efficiently upload and update product information as required.
Assist with product listings and maintaining product information on our e-commerce platform.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of product data.
Requirements:
– Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Experience in customer service and/or purchasing role, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
– Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively remotely.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and familiarity with Shopify platform.
– Availability during Australian business hours or similar time zone.
