Job Description

We are in need of a skilled Customer Service Assistant who is efficient, diligent, discerning, organized, attentive, professional and works with consistent quality.

Speech Time Fun, Inc is looking to add a trustworthy, committed person to the team ASAP. You must be a self starter, communicative, and empathetic. Your position will support customers and the CEO. You’ll need to work quickly, without over complicating things.

This is a fully remote, part-time role requiring 17 hours per week. Pay is between $6.00 to $7.00/hour depending on experience.
The role can increase to around 20 hours per week after the initial three month probationary period.
Working hours are USA EST time zone:
Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 7:30am & 6:pm – 7:30pm
Saturday and Sunday, 1 hour per day at a consistent time of your choice.
You will have off for all national and special Philippine holidays and American holidays.
We will pay the PayPal transfer fee so that you receive all of your salary.

There will be a two-month trial period on an escalating pay scale meaning you will start at $5.00 – $6.00/hour (depending on experience), and receive an additional $0.50/hour increase in pay each month for the first two months and be able to receive full pay once you successfully complete your probationary period.

Hallie Sherman, the CEO of Speech Time Fun, is a passionate and seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). She has a podcast, membership, a virtual conference and online store for SPLs. She fell head over heels in love with speech-language pathology during her college years, leading her to pursue advanced studies and ultimately serve a caseload of 65+ fifth and sixth graders in the public school system.

Recognizing the challenges many SLPs face, Hallie embarked on a mission to create low-prep, engaging therapy activities suitable for older students. This endeavor birthed “Speech Time Fun,” a platform offering invaluable resources for SLPs. Over the years, not only has she provided SLPs with effective tools to aid their practice, but she has also grown her brand to become a guiding beacon in the SLP community, continually inspiring others to rediscover their love for speech-language pathology.

Job Responsibilities (in order of importance):

1. Inbox management twice a day during each shift (And you need to respond quickly.)
• Three different inboxes
• Removing out spam
• Keeping the inbox ONLY things that Hallie needs to see.
• Responding to sales inquiries
• Customer questions

2. Monitor comments and questions inside the membership (hosted on Kajabi), respond and/or escalate to the CEO if needed

3. Respond to VideoAsk on the Sales page and in the membership
• Tags the CeO if it’s a “real question” only the CEO can answer

4. Initiates and completes the purchase order process from start to finish (super straightforward and we’ll provide training)

Requirements:
• Must have advanced proficiency in English and strong writing skills.
• Proficient in managing multiple inboxes, with a commitment to checking twice per shift.
• Ability to respond promptly to incoming messages.
• Skill in differentiating and filtering out spam emails.
• Demonstrated attention to detail in ensuring only relevant emails for Hallie’s attention remain in the inbox.
• Capable of effectively responding to sales inquiries.
• Competent in addressing and resolving customer questions and concerns.
• Familiarity with VideoAsk or willingness to learn, and adeptness in using it for both sales page and member interactions.
• Judgement to discern when to tag the CEO for specific inquiries that demand her attention.
• Comfortable in initiating and completing purchase orders; while the process is straightforward, candidates should be open to and keen on receiving training.
• Strong organizational skills to ensure smooth and accurate execution of tasks from start to finish.

Our Tech Stack:
Since you will need to work efficiently on assigned tasks all by yourself or with little assistance, ideally you will have working knowledge of a few products in our tech stack. If not, we will use screen recordings to explain what needs to be done and how to do it.

However you MUST be willing to use Google and YouTube to learn the software required for your job.

You need to be able to use our complete tech stack proficiently within your first three weeks of working with us.
