Customer Service – Assistant Property Manager Required for a growing Property Management Company

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our family-run residential property management company based on the East Coast of the USA. As a growing company, we are looking to add to our remote team. Unlike a large corporation or call center, we value high-quality team members who can make a significant impact on our business.
Our company specializes in single-family residential rentals, condos, townhomes, and multi-family units in the Indianapolis area. We are passionate about real estate and strive to provide the best customer service. We treat every property as if it were our own.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, where you will oversee the coordination and administration of our leasing and maintenance department. Your responsibilities will include handling resident and owner relations, collecting rent, performing basic bookkeeping for property upkeep, organizing property viewings, and overseeing facility maintenance in a professional office setting. Position Requirements (inclusive of but not necessarily limited to the following)
• Addressing and resolving residents’ questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner
• Schedule property viewings
• Create a report for delinquencies and debt collection
• Complete the lease renewal process, including the creation of leases and communication with tenants and owners
• Reporting any problems or issues to the property manager
• Process utility payments on behalf of the owner
• Accounts payable data processing
• Accounts receivable follow-up
• Quality assurance task
• Available to work 8:30am – 5:30 pm Eastern Time Zone
• Must have reliable internet access
• Must have good phone and English speaking skills
**Required Experience**
• Administrative or clerical experience in office environment, preferably in property management, real estate or construction industry, but all strong candidates will be considered
• Must have good customer service and people skills
• Customer service oriented with good business sensibilities
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritize
• Sense of urgency when completing task
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and basic Excel skills for basic spreadsheets
• Must be detailed oriented & very organized
• Strong oral and written communication skills
