About Us: We are a US-based apparel company that sells men’s shirts and similar products. We have both a subscription-based service (a “shirt of the month club”) and a Shopify store. We have been a successful business for more than 10 years, but we are a small company and our new Customer Service Manager will be a very important part of it.

Job Overview: Customer Service Manager (Remote): We are looking for a Customer Service Manager who will remotely manage all of our customer service needs. This position will report to the two owners of the business.

Primary Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibility will be managing email, chat, and social media inquiries, assisting customers with their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction. You’ll handle common customer requests such as address updates, billing adjustments, subscription cancellations, and product returns or exchanges. Whenever you encounter a customer service challenge, the company’s owners will be available at any time. We will be implementing a new customer service platforms such as ZenDesk, Zoho Desk, HelpCrunch, etc. So the Customer Service Manager will be working through one of these platforms.

We do anticipate that the customer service will only be 1-2 hours per day, so we will be giving you other jobs and responsibilities according to your talents and abilities. These will be primarily in administrative jobs (data entry, research, updating inventory, etc) and potentially marketing related jobs like social media.

Qualifications:

Fluent in American English, including casual slang and terminology, while maintaining professionalism.

Detail-oriented (to prove your interest, include “I’m a Customer Service ACE” in your subject line when applying).

Some prior experience in customer service and live chat.

Exceptional computer skills.

Access to a reliable computer and a strong internet connection.

A positive attitude and a genuine passion for assisting our customers.
