Customer Service | Marketing Coordinator Role
Daily Tasks
Order Processing and Fulfillment:
Checking new orders and ensuring they are processed and fulfilled promptly.
Coordinating with fulfillment centers or handling packaging and shipping if self-fulfilled.
Customer Service:
Monitor social media and email for customer communication.
Responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
Managing returns and exchanges.
Website Monitoring:
Checking the website for any technical issues.
Updating product listings and inventory.
Social Media, Sales, and Marketing Activities:
Posting on social media and engaging with followers.
Monitoring ongoing marketing campaigns and adjust as needed.
Engage with followers and potential customers.
Financial Management:
Reviewing daily sales and expenses.
Market Research:
Keeping an eye on competitors and market trends.
Performance Analysis:
Analyzing website traffic and conversion rates.
Monitoring the performance of marketing campaigns.
Weekly Tasks
Supplier Management:
Managing supplier relationships.
Keeping track of lead times, logistic issues, shipping success
Strategic Planning:
Planning marketing strategies for the coming weeks.
Managing Influencer and Affiliate programs
Content Creation:
Creating or scheduling blog posts, email newsletters, and social media content.
Develop email marketing content.
Create promotional materials or graphics.
Team Meetings and Coordination:
Attend weekly meetings to align on goals and tasks with ownership.
Weekly KPI tracking/reporting
Website and SEO Optimization:
Updating the website for SEO and user experience improvements.
Adding new products or content.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyzing sales data, customer feedback, and website analytics.
Preparing reports to track growth and identify areas for improvement.
Monthly and Quarterly Tasks
Marketing Plan Review: Reviewing and adjusting the marketing strategy.
Business Performance Review (w/ownership): Assessing overall business performance against goals.
Supplier and Partner Meetings: Regular check-ins with suppliers and business partners.
Strategic Planning (w/ownership): Review and adjust your business plan and goals.
Website Major Overhaul: Consider redesigning or significantly updating the website.
Deep Market Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of market trends and competitor strategies.
