Job Description

Plant Addicts Inc. is seeking a dedicated individual to join our dynamic customer service team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout their journey with Plant Addicts. Our commitment to delivering outstanding customer service is a core value, making this position integral to the success of our company.

This is a full-time, remote position. Please note that a computer will not be provided.

Job Responsibilities
* Customer Conversion: Assist potential customers by addressing product questions, offering information about additional products to enhance their shopping experience.
* Order Management: Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding order shipment and delivery timelines.
* Issue Resolution: Resolve product related issues by identifying customer complaints, determining the root cause, explaining effective solutions, expediting corrections or adjustments, and ensuring follow-up for resolution.
* Communication Channels: Engage with customers through instant chats, emails & phones.
* Team Collaboration: Contribute to team efforts by undertaking additional duties as required.

Education and Experience
* Customer Service: Demonstrated track record in previous customer service roles, showcasing effective communication skills and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Phone Support: 1+ years of experience in providing support to customers over the phone, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering a positive customer experience.
* Computer Proficiency: Strong command of essential computer skills to navigate various systems and applications efficiently.
* Ecommerce Expertise: Background in ecommerce operations, with a focus on guiding customers through website navigation, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a smooth customer experience.
* Upsell Background: Previous involvement in upsales, where the ability to convert potential customers and enhance their shopping experience is a key aspect of the role.
* Gardening and Plant Knowledge: While not mandatory, any knowledge or experience in gardening and plants is considered a valuable bonus.

Compensation and Expectations
* Hours: Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends based on availability. The standard work week is 35-40 hours, with slight variations depending on business needs.
*The hours are subject to change depending on seasonality and business needs.
* Salary: Commensurate based on experience.
* Bonus:
* End of spring season bonus based on performance & attendance.
* Monthly bonus based on individual and team performance
* Requirements: Must have reliable internet connection and computer.
* Background Check: Candidates may need to pass a background check in order to be considered for the role.
