About the Job:
US-based, ecommerce company is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a remote-based, Customer Service Representative. This is a part-time (~4 hours/day to start), freelance role that may potentially evolve into a full-time opportunity. Potential candidates MUST be available to work Los Angeles (Pacific time) hours.
As a vital member of our customer support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences, resolving inquiries, and maintaining our reputation for top-notch service.
Responsibilities:
– Customer Interaction: Interact with customers via various channels (phone, email, sms) to provide prompt, accurate, and courteous assistance. Address inquiries, provide product information, process orders, and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
– Problem Resolution: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and technical issues effectively. Escalate complex cases to appropriate departments while keeping customers informed of progress.
– Order Management: Manage order processing, tracking, and returns. Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
– Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products or services based on customer needs and preferences, contributing to revenue growth.
– Documentation: Accurately document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in our CRM system. Compile and analyze customer feedback to suggest improvements to products, services, and processes.
– Quality Assurance: Strive for excellence in service delivery by adhering to established service levels, quality standards, and best practices. Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
Qualifications:
– Ability to work Los Angeles (Pacific time) hours
– At least two years experience in customer service, preferably in an ecommerce company
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Proficient in using customer support software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office / Google Suite
– BONUS: Prior experience working with Shopify
