Job Description

We are looking to expand our in-house Customer Service team at The Gift Group Canada and USA. Our ideal candidate is empathetic, calm, well-spoken, punctual, polite, detail-oriented, and a good multitasker, who can work responsibly with minimal supervision.

As the face of the company, customer service responsibilities include training new CSRs, assisting customers with existing orders via phone, e-mail, and live chat, as well as driving sales by placing new orders for customers, answering general questions, and providing accurate information about our products and services.

Our Customer Service team operates Monday to Sunday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST. Since this is a full-time position, we are only considering applicants who can commit to working a set schedule 40 hours a week and have weekend availability. You will also be required to put in extra hours and day during peak periods (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day Week, and the Month of December). Any extra hours and days that were worked will be compensated. This role is seasonal and will only last until the end of December.

Responsibilities:
• Assist customers with existing orders via phone, email, and live chat
• Exceed sales targets by placing new orders, answering inquiries, and providing accurate product and service information
• Multitask efficiently and provide exceptional service to customers with minimal supervision
• Review, assess, and respond to customer complaints in a timely, efficient manner; offer appropriate resolutions that are in-line with our policies
• Train new customer service representatives

Basic Requirements:
• You will need to provide your own laptop/PC.
• Have a stable internet connection.
• Have a good microphone and headset for communication

Requirements:
• University / College Graduate
• Have at least 3 years experience in the Customer Service Field
• Experience in the eCommerce, floral, warehouse, and/or shipping industries considered an asset
• Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language
• Able to handle high call volumes during peak times
• Comfortable deescalating customer concerns and providing efficient assistance independently
• Computer literacy and familiarity required
• Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment

Job Type: Full-time
• 8-hour shift 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. EST
• Monday to Sunday
