Customer Service Representative
Full-time, remote work
Status: Hired 2 people in December 2023, 2 in January 2024 and still looking for one more customer service representative for our growing team. Immediate start.
We are an established hardware company looking for Customer Service Representatives to support the growth of our international business. Primary responsibilities include attending to customer queries over email and WhatsApp instant messages and identifying which products customers should purchase. A successful candidate will be passionate about delivering an enjoyable customer experience, have excellent English written communication skills, very high attention to detail, and the ability to work in an organised manner.
You will not have to voice speak with any customer. All communication will be text-based.
We are looking for someone who wants to work with us long-term. Consequently, we seek to be a company with a work environment and culture people will also enjoy working with long-term.
Job Responsibilities
– Must be able to work UK work hours Monday to Friday – 8 am until 5 pm.
– Other work shift times included: weekend shifts & late UK shifts.
– Daily monitoring of incoming email & instant messenger customer queries.
– Categorizing & labeling customer queries for providing timely & accurate responses.
– Attending customer queries by helping them identify which specific products they should purchase.
– Dialoging with customers and requesting additional information from customers when necessary to help with the product identification process.
– Providing customers with an overall excellent customer experience in regards to timeliness of responses, quality of communication, and the accuracy of purchase advice given.
– Flagging and escalating difficult queries for experienced team members to follow up.

Experience & Skills
– Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
– Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a customer service role with a track record of providing customers with excellent service.
– Very high attention to detail and interest in learning technical products as well as able to spot even small differences between similar hardware products.
– Highly customer service oriented, positive and pleasant personal disposition.
– Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and tasks.
– Self-starter who is able to identify, scope, and manage projects from end to end.
– Team player willing and interested in helping other team members.
