As we continue to expand our reach and impact, we are seeking a dedicated Customer Service / Support Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on providing exceptional chat support to our users, ensuring they have a positive and productive experience with our software.
Role Summary:
The Customer Service / Support Specialist will be the first point of contact for our customers seeking assistance via chat. This role demands a passion for helping others, a deep understanding of our software, and the ability to resolve inquiries efficiently and effectively. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide timely and accurate customer support via chat, addressing user inquiries, solving problems, and offering guidance on how to best use our software.
– Understand the nuances of our software to provide expert advice and solutions to our customers.
– Log customer interactions and feedback to help improve our product and service.
– Work closely with the development and product teams to identify and resolve bugs, feature requests, and other user concerns.
– Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a knowledge base to assist in answering frequently asked questions and solving common problems.
– Monitor chat support metrics to ensure targets are met, including response time and customer satisfaction rates.
– Stay updated on new product features and updates to provide accurate and up-to-date support.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in customer support or a similar role, preferably in a tech or software company.
– Excellent written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
– Familiarity with chat support software and CRM systems.
– A patient and empathetic attitude, with a genuine desire to help others.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
– Fast learner, able to quickly grasp and articulate new concepts.
– Knowledge of the animal breeding industry is a plus but not required.
