Technical Customer Support Agent (Chats and Emails)

Beforepay is a growth stage fintech that won Best Startup of the Year at The Fintech Awards in 2020 and listed on the ASX in January of 2022. We are excited to be launching into our next phase of hyper growth and seeking highly motivated Customer Support Agents to join our team!

We’re on a mission to disrupt traditional financial products and put people in control of their finances. We do this by empowering working Australians to instantly access their pay early, and equipping them with customised spending insights and a budgeting tool in our app to help them stay on top of their finances.

NOTE: we are particularly looking for agents who can work till midnight PH time.

Multiple positions available.

About You

You understand that the Customer is at the heart of what we do. You take pride in your work. You have a high level of empathy and at the same time carry out their work in an efficient manner.

About the Position

Reporting to the Customer Support Supervisor, this is a full-time position (40 hours a week) and is completely remote (work from home). You will be working with 18 other highly trained support agents to resolve any onboarding issues reported by customers. You will advocate for our repeat customers and will do your best to maintain their loyalty to the brand.

Responsibilities

Responds to incoming email and chat inquiries in accordance with SLAs
Assists customers with on-boarding: verifying salaries, IDs and troubleshooting bank syncs, among others
Provides customers with information, support and guidance for Beforepay Products
Some administrative and data entry duties

Preferred Requirements

Proven work experience as a customer service representative and/or any related role is required.
Must have strong reading and writing skills.
Fast typing skills
Ability to work under pressure
Professional work experience in chat support and technical support highly regarded
Work experience in financial services and regulated environments high desirable

Apart from the above requirements, you must also have a suitable workspace at home, a reasonably new computer, with webcam and microphone for meetings, and reliable, fast fixed line internet connection (5G backup is highly desirable)
