1. Customer Communication ?
I have apartments for short term rent and a bike shop, both in Larnaca, Cyprus. You will be chatting and calling with my apartment guests (Airbnb, Booking, Whatsapp etc), and bike shop customers 🙂 It is important to answer all their questions quickly and fast to help them with all of their problems.
Right now it is about 5-10 guests/customers that are writing per your shift, in future more.
2. Customer support ?
Guests or customers have many questions and problems. For example how to find the apartment, coming later or earlier, having a discount, how to use the bus etc. or for the bikes how much it cost etc. The MOST important is for the guest to get a fast solution for his problem, but in case we can’t help, at least to try our best. We have all the answers to 90% of the questions and problems in our knowledge base, so you will simply copy paste it. But sometimes we don’t have the answer and you will use google etc. to find the right answer, because we always try to go the extra mile for our guests and customers 🙂
3. Manage bookings ?
Sometimes people ask questions before they book. You need to do your best to help the guest, so he wants to book with us and check if its available. For that you will learn how to use our channel manager software, to insert the booking in our system.
4. Communicate with staff and team ?
We have a team of cleaners and sometimes we also need an electrician, plumber or the manager for helping. You will need to communicate with these too to fix problems, but not that often.
WHAT ARE THE WORKING CONDITIONS?
The ON DEMAND time is stated as 48h / week on 6 days a week. The REAL working time is about 30-50% of that, in the beginning time maybe even less. Saturday is off day. The working time (on demand) is 8 hours per day, from 5pm – 1am Cypriot time (Philippine Time 10pm – 4am), during this time you should be available at your workplace.
SALARY
Roughly 250$ monthly depending on experience with customer support and match of the skills.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
– Experience in customer service, best with Airbnb
– Good English in writing and speaking (Minimum C1)
– Problem solver mentality
– Have fun chatting or calling with guests
– Very reliable
– Friendly and service-oriented writing style
– Willingness to learn and improve your skills
– In this job there are phases without work, but during the working hours you NEED to be available for guests/ customers. So it is NOT possible to go to the cinema, drive a car, sleep or do anything else that interferes with the ability to answer inquiries. As long as you follow these rules and stay awake, you can do whatever you like. Have another main job where you enter data, chill, eat, take care of your home etc.

My name is Eduard, the 32 year old director of Palace Unity 24 LTD. Our business is mostly short term rental and we are based in Larnaca, Cyprus a sweet island that mostly lives from tourists. Palace Unity 24 LTD has currently 12 Airbnb Apartments, 1 full time and 3 part time cleaners, 1 fulltime Account Manager (also from Philippines) and will constantly grow in the next months. For this summer we also develop a bike shop where customers write to us.
