We are looking for a contractor who has skills in good communication, effective response, can multitask, and with strong background in the solar industry.
As a Customer Support Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for our users, embodying our commitment to exceptional service. This role requires versatility to handle a range of inquiries—from course details to technical troubleshooting. Your goal is to ensure every customer feels supported and valued, leveraging your excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities to enhance their experience with our services. Provide courteous and knowledgeable customer support via email, chat, and phone, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction in the solar industry context
WHAT WE NEED
Excellent written, chat, and verbal communication skills
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
2 years or more of relevant experience in a customer support role or other technical, client-facing position
Demonstrated interest in solar technology
Experience building out and managing a support style-guide
Passion for improving procedures, documentation, and efficiency
Experience in CAD
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Reply to inbound customer inquiries and questions through various channels including chat, email, and phone
Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate bugs to the development team using standardized escalation paths
Contribute to internal and client-facing documentation
Work closely with sales, product, engineering, and marketing teams to aid with various initiatives that impact our customers
Identify opportunities to increase customer usage and take action on implementing these steps, or escalating to the appropriate member to do so
WHAT WE REQUIRE
At least 2 years of customer service experience
Independence in managing your workload with minimal supervision, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adjust your messaging for different audiences
A quick learner, eager to understand new technologies and business insights
Quality noise-cancelling headset for clear communication
