Job Description

The Auction Manager will help with silent and live auction events for the client and other events. The Auction Manager will assist with contacting auction donors and auction winners via phone calls, texts, and emails. The Auction Manager will be working with Silent Auction software platforms. The Auction Manager will be responsible for customer service, auction follow-up, coordinating with team members in the United States to ensure auction items are delivered, and other issues associated with silent auctions and live auctions for charity events. Performance bonuses will be available.

Job responsibilities and expectations
Managing silent and live auctions for charity events
Working with volunteers who are soliciting items
Working with donors who have donated or may donate items;
Working with purchasers who have purchased auction items
Working with event management personnel who are responsible for other aspects of the events
Working and coordinating with staff such as copywriters, social media managers, and graphic artists to ensure that deliverables are being taken care of
Working with potential clients who may want to use our auction management services
Build a team in the event of business growth
Assess and train new team members

Skills and qualifications required:
Strong English speaking and writing communication skills
Sending emails and business communication skills
superb phone skills
A confident communicator and presenter
strong interpersonal abilities
Financial management as well as business analytics experience is a plus.
Exceptional organizational and planning skills
Superior project management and time management skills
Internet/web navigation
Strong computer skills
CRM proficiency
Understanding of common software programs, particularly Microsoft Office programs (especially Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), as well as the capacity to learn business-specific ERP software
Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management

Device/Workstation Minimum Requirements:
Dedicated workspace with zero distraction
A functioning computer (ideally with at least 8GB RAM and an i3 Intel Core Processor or its equivalent) as well as a backup computer
Fast, stable internet (minimum dedicated 20 Mbps – download/upload) and a backup internet connection.
Good headset (preferably with noise canceling feature)
Clear webcam
