DATA ANALYST

Purpose of the job:
Gather and scrutinize data using special tools to generate information that helps others make decisions.
Respond to questions about data and look for trends, patterns, and anomalies within it.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyzing data using statistical techniques and providing reports.
Developing and implementing databases and data collection systems.
Acquiring data from primary and secondary sources and maintaining data systems.
Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Supporting and cooperating with other divisions and departments and aligning plans, forecasts, processes, expectations, timelines, resources, workforce, etc. with all divisions or departments
Participating in forums, projects, focus groups, etc. with other division and department heads.
Managing risks for the company which is generated by or can be managed by the department.
Disputing and escalating wrong decisions, evaluations, and policies and practices if they are not in the interest of the customer, company, and staff.
Reporting and taking action to prevent and minimize anything that might damage the interests of the customer, the company, and the staff, using the provided channels.
Protecting the company’s interest and reputation in all activities.

Experience and skills requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in computer science.
Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
High-level written and verbal communication skills.
Tools that we need experience with are:
Google Sheets
Google Docs
Apps Scripts
Also need candidates with experience in working with large sources of data and creating user friendly dashboards using Google Sheets and automate dashboard update.

Have strategized, planned and executed data collection
Experience in writing scripts (Python, R, other programming language) for data gathering and cleaning
Experience in Identify gaps with internal and external data
Easy to understand dashboard creation, maintenance and automatic dashboard update.
